Mumtaz Maroc is led by an expert solo female traveler who, after living in Morocco for 2 months, left equally exhausted and enchanted with the Kingdom of Morocco. She wanted to create a space for female travelers to explore the magic of Morocco without the hassle of going it alone. Over the course of three additional long-term visits, Malain enjoyed continued exploration of the country while building her expertise of the country and tour intineraries.

Malain McCormick, travel enthusiast
Born in New Orleans, Malain always had a desire to explore the unknown starting with her neighborhood and expanding it to far flung places around the world. She traveled to all 50 US states before turning 30 and then turned her sights on a round the world trip. A former full-time event planner for large scale sporting events, Malain quit full-time work in 2015 for a life on the road. Her 35th birthday present to herself was a trip around the world. It was on that trip, that her love for Morocco began.
Swearing off the normal 9-5 lifestyle, Malain works on events to fund her passion for travel and inspiring others to explore new destinations!
